Tonight I take part in the Institute of Industrial Engineers (Hong Kong) and am one of MCs of the annual dinner and scholarship presentation. I have some thinking after the event:

Very Professional

Their events is well organized and have more than 120 VIP from HK industrial engineering field to attend to represent HKUST, HKU, HK poly U., industrial companies, service company(such HK Disneyland), management consulting companies. The event lasted from 7:00 to 10:30. The event strengthens the communication between the different background members and raise funding for the institute.

How to be a leader in the society?
If you want to manage people's business, you must consider more than others, say more than others, do more than others, service to the society. The president Mr Dick Chou and Vice president Mr Henery Lee need to well plan this event, do token for many sponsors, and drink toast table by table. They have own job. This is just social free work. I am appreciate Hong Kong people's spirit of contributing to the society for non money.

Especially impressive, Engineer Daniel M. Cheng gives us a speech on “IIE's Future of Corporate Social Responsibility--Innovation, Influence and Environment”. When he said that his companies built two hoping elementary school in Si Chuan Province which successfully survived from this big earthquake, people gave a big applause.

Hope our Institute of Industrial Engineers (Hong Kong) have a more splendid future.

By the way, I need to be more innovative and powerful. Next time, I will think more before I do things. Thinking enough, then I can have a much better performance. Generally speaking, I need to work more hard.
